Although self-taught, Ruben Carrillo has honed his skills through workshops with renowned artists and is a proud member of the Greater St. Louis Artist Association. About Donna Carrillo:
Donna Carrillo grew up in Bourbon Missouri. She received a Mastered of Arts Degree in Teaching and pursued a teaching career in Special Education for over 25 years.
In 2016 Donna began exploring Art using different mediums including alcohol ink and acrylics. Her main focus now is painting in Oil. Through expressive brush strokes and color Donna creates paintings that command attention.
Donna's works include Still Life, Landscapes, and abstracts. Donna shares the love and appreciation of art with her husband Ruben. She takes art lessons and workshops with some of her favorite artists. Donna is a member of the Heartland Art Club in Kirkwood, Missouri.

2021 Maui Pastel Society- has accepted Ruben Carrillo's Pastel Painting "Window of Renewal" for the First Annual Pastel Show in Maui, Hawaii October 1-15th.
Wildwood Plein Air Art Event - Saturday, September 26, 2020. Donna and Ruben Carrillo participated in the 2020 Wildwood Plein Air Event.
